Based on the successful &lt;span style="color: rgb(153, 51, 0);"&gt;Rapidox 3100&lt;/span&gt; this unit is smaller and more compact, yet retains many of the features offered in its larger brother. It is our first ever unit offered with EITHER an electrochemical cell OR a zirconia cell at the same price! The R1100 has a fixed flow sample pump for continuous sampling of the gas, and comes packed with features such as data-logging software, programmable alarms, programmable outputs and data-logging software.&lt;/span&gt; &lt;p style="margin-left: 30px;" align="left"&gt;&lt;span style="font-size: 85%;"&gt;The R1100E is based on  the World-renowned &lt;span style="color: rgb(153, 51, 0);"&gt; Yuasa electrochemical cell&lt;/span&gt; which has a very long life (3-5 years) and is resistant to poisoning from carbon dioxide. The 1100E is suitable for use with hydrogen, helium and CH&lt;sub&gt;4&lt;/sub&gt; containing gases that are not  compatible with zirconia.  Range is 0.01% to 100% O&lt;sub&gt;2&lt;/sub&gt;&lt;/span&gt;&lt;/p&gt; &lt;p style="margin-left: 30px;" align="left"&gt;&lt;span style="font-size: 85%;"&gt;The R1100Z is based on our Rapidox 3100 system and contains a zirconia sensor for enhanced range and speed. Zirconia sensors have many advantages over electrochemical sensors such as speed of response and low ppm measurements. However not all gases (e.g. flammable) are suitable for use with a zirconia sensor and in this case the R1100E is more appropriate.
